Trained in the plastic approach of the utilitarian object (Parsons, New York and Central Saint Martins, London), occasional collaborator of Ross Lovegrove and Karim Rashid, Letizia de Maigret very early on oriented her artistic research in the direction of an ontological quest without answer or end, reviving the great questions that inhabit humanity: quest for meaning, for origins, for permanence and change, for a harmonious and just relationship with our environment, a quest for joy as well, the universal mystery not being devoid for her of a festive, celebratory dimension, following the example of the work of a Poussin whose work she says she admires and whose influence she claims.
